World Congress on IT 2017 Taiwan 10-13 September 

Three largest ICT events of the World and the Asia-Pacific region are going to take place at Taipei, Taiwan on 10 – 13 September 2017. The World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) & Information Service Industry Association of Taiwan (CISA) will jointly organize the World Congress on Information Technology 2017 (WCIT 2017) at the Taipei International Convention Centre, Taipei, Taiwan with the theme “Fulfilling the Promise of the Digital Age – Living the Digital Dream.” On the other hand, the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) & CISA will jointly organize the ASOCIO General Assembly & ICT Summit 2017 at the same venue at Taipei, while the Asia Pacific Council for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (AFACT) will organize the 35th AFACT Plenary Meeting in parallel at the same venue. 

This year, at these world’s parallel trio-techno-business top programs, Bangladesh will have few glorious achievements such as a number of organizations including Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Bangladesh Post Office have won few prestigious awards. The results will be flashed upon receiving the awards on 12 September 2017 at Taipei, Taiwan.

3000+ participants from 80+ countries will assemble at Taipei, Taiwan and showcase all nations’ present ICT innovations, best technology and knowledge harbor at the three giant events. A 58-member high level delegation from Bangladesh comprising public and private sector representatives are going to attend at the above events and actively participate at workshops, seminars, discussion sessions, ONE2ONE & B2B meetings and Multilateral Business Networking sessions. More importantly, there will be 4-day illustrious showcase at Bangladesh pavilion on the pivotal advancement that has happened in the ICT sphere of Bangladesh in order to implement the most visionary program of ‘Digital Bangladesh’ initiated and set by the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
